Sharpness at 600mm
For this test, the Sigma 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports lens was attached to a Sony A7R IV body, which was in turn mounted to a sturdy tripod. Exposure delay mode was activated. Tonal and colour variance across the crops are due to change in natural light during the session.

The full frame at 600mm
Centre sharpness is commendably good wide-open at f/6.3, and the sharpness of both the centre and the edge remains high through from f/8 to f/16, with f/22 and f/32 being adversely affected by diffraction.
