HTC has launched ‘Inside Street Football,’ a new exhibition designed to capture the passion and spirit of street football. Captured by an esteemed roster of Getty Images photographers, all of the photos on display were taken with the new HTC One camera phone. The exhibition will be hosted at Top Office Machines, 133-135 Bethnal Green Road, London - a gallery located in a former computer repair shop - from Friday, 24th of May to Tuesday, 28th of May. Charity PhotoVoice has launched its fundraising WILD print sale of winning photographs from the WILD photography competition, judged by acclaimed photographer Steve Bloom. Samsung has joined forces with David Bailey to create an online exhibition and auction whose proceeds will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care. The auction will feature twenty photographs, one taken by the David Bailey and the others taken by 19 of his namesakes who were recruited by Samsung back in October. Live from today, the charity auction will be open for one week until 8pm on Tuesday 14th March and will feature a range of images taken by the David Baileys on a Samsung NX300 (pictured). Each print will be available to bid on for the duration of the week-long auction, with bidders invited to identify the real David Bailey from his namesakes to be in with the chance of getting their hands on an original David Bailey print. The Photographic Museum of Humanity has announced a new online exhibition entitled “Around the War.” Featuring the works of Rodrigo Abd (2013 Pulitzer Prize winner), Fabio Bucciarelli (2013 Robert Capa Gold Medal winner) and Alessio Romenzi (2013 World Press Photo winner) among others, Around the War is an "intimate and social view" on the effects of war, depicted without a hint of the explicitness typical of conflict zone photography. The second edition of the New Wave Photography exhibition was shown 19 - 27 April at the Crypt Gallery in London. The exhibition presented over fifty works by photographers from the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, attracting a large number of visitors, including Londoners and tourists, art enthusiasts, collectors, businessmen and students. Over 2,000 people have seen the show, many of whom have left with a piece by their favourite artist. The photographers whose works were on display included five Hungarians (Réka Kóti, Sarolta Bán, Benedek Bognár, Zoltán Békefy and Miroslav Zselinsky), three Polish artists (Maciej Boksa, Przemysław Kuciński and Pawel Piotrowski), three Czechs (Martin Hruška, Lucie Jestrabikova and Karel Vojkovský) and Veronika Otepková from Slovakia.

The Syngenta Photography Award Exhibition includes the works of the six finalists of the first-ever Syngenta International Photography Awards. In its inaugural year, the theme of the award is “Rural-Urban”, which aims to raise awareness and stimulate dialogue about the relationship and tensions between urban and rural environments, and to further explore the impact these issues have on global resources. Taking place at Somerset House, London from 17 - 21 May 2013, the exhibition features a selection of entries by finalists Jan Brykczyński (Poland), Pablo Lopez Luz (Mexico), Mimi Mollica (Italy), André François (Brazil), Holly Lynton (U.S.) and Vitaliy Popkov as well as over fifty other artists.

Following last week's launch of the OM-D Photography Playground in Berlin, Olympus UK has decided to give one lucky Twitter / Facebook follower (plus a friend) the chance to visit this interactive exhibition. Blitz: WWII in London is an upcoming exhibition of vintage photographs from the 1940s, going on display on 31st May in the Daniel Blau gallery in London. The Blitz lasted from 7 September 1940 to 21 May 1941. In this time, Germany attacked London 71 times, rendering more than 1.4 million people homeless. The main air offensive against British cities diminished after May 1941, but sporadic and lethal raids continued for several more years, with the V-1 and V-2 rockets deployed between 1944 and 1945 killing nearly 9,000 civilians. The first Children's Eyes On Earth International Youth Photography Festival & Exhibition will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan from 12-14 May 2103. This event, which aims to raise awareness of environmental issues through the eyes of young people and their photographs, will be a chance to view the best 100 images from the inaugural Children’s Eyes On Earth International Youth Photography Contest, which took place last summer. With the themes “I Love Nature” and “I Fear Pollution”, the Contest drew thousands of entries from young people in over 90 countries around the world.

TimelapseWorkshops.com has announced that early bird registration is now open for “Timelapse Moab” an intimate 4-day dark sky time-lapse workshop taking place in Southern Utah’s Arches National Park. Moab, Utah is home to Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park and is located just 90 minutes from Grand Junction, CO or a four hour drive from Salt Lake City. Workshop instructor Ron Risman chose this location due to the incredible red-rock landscape, dry desert weather, and extremely dark skies. The dates of this workshop (3-6 October 2013) also correspond to the new moon, allowing participants the ability to capture stunning Milky Way time-lapses using their digital SLR and an external intervalometer. Early bird registration is open through 31st May. The workshop is being offered at $1295 until that date, $1495 afterwards, and is open to a maximum of 12 students. FA Cup sponsor Budweiser has appointed two 'Phoneographers' - amateur photographers who shoot solely on smartphones - to become the tournament's first official "social reporters" capturing, editing and sharing all the action from the Semi-Finals. The lucky Phoneographers, Oliver Nielsen and Ope Odueyungbo, will shoot pitch-side alongside professional sports photographers, getting a perspective of the game that an amateur photographer can only dream about. Their images will be shared on Twitter under the hashtag #tothedream. Football fans can also Tweet their own FA Cup photographs by following @BudweiserUK and using #tothedream for the chance to have it appear in a Budweiser fan film TV advert, which will be played during The FA Cup with Budweiser final on 11 May.

New Artists are bringing the work of photographer Sean Smith to the eerie setting of a crypt in Kensal Green Cemetery for an exhibition entitled "Sean Smith: On the margins." The exhibit focuses on images of marginalised people such as junkies, prostitutes and children caught up in war zones. “I’m interested in people on the edge of society”, says Smith. "They are usually either unrepresented or misrepresented.” The exhibition opens on 24th May and runs until 26th June.

Following visits to cities in China, Phase One is now visiting Hamburg with Profoto and Production Paradise, as part of a 22-city World Tour. Each event on this tour is unique, with locally-based professional photographers who will share valuable insights to their work styles and techniques.
