Fujifilm is set to release the "FUJINON GF 250mm F4 R LM OIS WR" lens and accompanying “FUJINON Teleconverter GF 1.4X TC WR" in May 2018, the seventh and eighth lenses in the GF lens series.

The Leica Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16–35/3.5–4.5 ASPH. is a new wide-angle zoom lens for the Leica SL camera.

The Super-Vario-Elmar-SL 16–35/3.5–4.5 ASPH. will be on sale from 23 April priced at £4500 / $5495. A new firmware version (3.2) for the Leica SL will also appear at the same time as the new wide-angle zoom lens.

NiSi Cinema Filters are introducing a new range of full-frame, prime lenses at the NAB show 2018. They boast an original full-frame camera design, high resolution, extremely low dispersion and special flare performance and will launch in 25mm T2.1, 35mm T2.0, 50mm T2.0, 75mm T2.0 and 100mm CF T2.0 formats.

The third edition of the Meyer-Optik-Görlitz Nocturnus 50 mm f0.95 comes in a new design and now features mounts for Sony-E, Fuji-X and Leica-M. Within the next 14 days, the lens is offered in a pre-order sale, where it is available for less than 60% of its future MSRP.

The Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D is the widest angle lens (113°) among wide-angle lenses for mirrorless APS-C cameras. 3 special low dispersion lenses (ED lens) and 2 glass aspherical lenses are used extensively, with Laowa promising zero distortion. The Laowa 9mm F2.8 Zero-D will be available in Fujifilm X, Canon EF-M and Sony E mounts, with the scheduled release date around early April 2018, priced at £499 in the UK.

The Citograph 50mm f/2.8 lens has just been launched on Kickstarter. Billed as "the most versatile & lightweight creativity lens ever with razor sharpness, dreamy bokeh and intense colors", the Citograph 50mm f/2.8 is scheduled to be shipped to backs by November 2018, if it meets its goal of £21,577. It will be available in the following mounts: Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fuji X and Leica M (manual only).

Leica Camera and pmdtechnologies have announced a strategic alliance to jointly develop and market 3D sensing camera solutions for mobile devices. With tailor-made optics, together Leica and pmd will address the increasing demand, especially from the mobile device segment, for highly efficient lenses with compact dimensions.

Cosina Japan have launched three new Voigtlander lenses at the CP+ show in Japan - the Voigtlander MACRO APO-LANTHAR 110mm F2.5 E-mount (pictured), Voigtlander COLOR-SKOPAR 21mm F3.5 Aspherical E-mount and Voigtlander NOKTON 50mm F1.2 Aspherical VM lenses.

Sigma has launched the new 105mm F1.4 Art and 70mm F2.8 Macro Art lenses, as well as announcing that 9 of its Art lenses will be made available for Sony E-mount full-frame cameras.

Sigma's new Sony E-mount lenses will feature a newly developed control algorithm that optimizes the autofocus drive and maximizes the data transmission speed. In addition, these lenses will be compatible with Sony’s continuous autofocus (AF-C) and high-speed autofocus, which are not supported by the current Sigma Mount Converter MC-11.

The brand new Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is the ninth lens in the Sigma F1.4 lineup. Designed for full-frame cameras and incorporating 17 optical elements in 12 groups, this lens offers minimal optical aberration and delivers incredible resolution and stunning contrast with a beautiful bokeh effect.

The Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro is a compact and versatile high magnification macro lens. Optimized for macro shooting between 2.5X – 5X life size, the Laowa 25mm 5x Macro provides a relatively greater depth of field compared to other extreme macro lens in the market. Available in Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K & Sony FE mounts, the Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro will cost $399 / £399 with shipping expected to start from late March.  The new lens will also be available to try at the UK Photography Show in Birmingham during 17-20 March 2018.

The Panasonic LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT 50-200mm F2.8-4.0 ASPH. is a new super telephoto lens that offers an effective focal length of 100-400mm. The third lens to be introduced as part of the LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT F2.8-4.0 Series, the Paansonic 50-200mm is compatible with both the 1.4x and 2x teleconverters. The Panasonic LEICA DG VARIO-ELMARIT 50-200mm F2.8-4.0 ASPH. will be available from the end of May priced at £1599.99 / $1699.99.

The new Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG HSM Art lens will have a suggested retail price of £1,399.99 in the UK and $1,299.99 in the US. SIGMA, Canon and Nikon mounts will be available to purchase in the UK from March 2018 and mid-March in the US.
