The new 400GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC card is the World's Fastest UHS-I microSD card. At 160MB/s*, the new card is more than 50 percent faster than current SanDisk Extreme UHS-I microSD cards.

Western Digital is also demonstrating the future of flash memory card technology with Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe)-enabled cards, designed to deliver the performance required for the next wave of data and content-intensive applications.

The ASUS ZenFone 5Z and the ZenFone 5 are new high-performance 6.2-inch dual-camera smartphones. They are the first ever ZenFone models to harness the power of artificial intelligence (AI). Sigma has launched the new 105mm F1.4 Art and 70mm F2.8 Macro Art lenses, as well as announcing that 9 of its Art lenses will be made available for Sony E-mount full-frame cameras.

Sigma's new Sony E-mount lenses will feature a newly developed control algorithm that optimizes the autofocus drive and maximizes the data transmission speed. In addition, these lenses will be compatible with Sony’s continuous autofocus (AF-C) and high-speed autofocus, which are not supported by the current Sigma Mount Converter MC-11.

The brand new Sigma 105mm F1.4 DG HSM Art is the ninth lens in the Sigma F1.4 lineup. The Sony A7 III is the new entry-level camera in Sony's 35mm full-frame mirrorless range. Sitting below the A9, A7R III and A7S II, the A7 II offers a lot of Sony's latest imaging technologies, including a new 24.2 megapixel Back-Illuminated Exmor R CMOS Image Sensor, ISO range of 50-204800, 15 stops of dynamic range, 4K video recording with full pixel readout, 10fps burst shooting, 5-axis 5-stop image stabilisation, 693 point auto-focus system covering 93% of the image area, Eye auto-focusing mode, a joystick for adjusting the focus point, and class-leading 710 shot battery life.

The Sony A7 III will ship in Europe in March 2018 priced at approximately £2000 / €2300 (body only) or £2200/ €2500 in a kit with the FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens. In the US, it will be available slightly later from April 10th priced at about $2000 US for the body and $2200 in a kit with the FE 28‑70 mm F3.5‑5.6 kit lens.

The Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro is a compact and versatile high magnification macro lens. Optimized for macro shooting between 2.5X – 5X life size, the Laowa 25mm 5x Macro provides a relatively greater depth of field compared to other extreme macro lens in the market. Available in Canon EF, Nikon F, Pentax K & Sony FE mounts, the Laowa 25mm f/2.8 2.5-5X Ultra Macro will cost $399 / £399 with shipping expected to start from late March.  The new lens will also be available to try at the UK Photography Show in Birmingham during 17-20 March 2018.

Sony Mobile have announced two new smartphones to headline its flagship range, the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. The XZ2 offers the world’s 1st 4K HDR Movie recording in a smartphone. Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact are available globally from March 2018 and both will ship with Android 8.0 Oreo.

Sony are also showcasing a new ultra-high sensitivity camera technology at the Mobile World Congress show. This newly developed dual camera and Sony's  fusion image signal processor allows image capture in extremely dark conditions thanks to its unprecedented ISO sensitivity of 51200 for photos and ISO 12800 for video, which is currently only possible with inter-changeable lens cameras.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones feature Super Slow-mo video, best-in-class low light camera and AR Emojis. Samsung’s Dual Aperture (F1.5 / F2.4) automatically lets in more light when it’s dark and less light when it’s too bright, taking photos that are crisp and clear. Super Slow-mo records dynamic, slow-motion video that captures 960 frames per second. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available starting in March 16, 2018 in select markets and will be offered in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue and a new hue, Lilac Purple.

The new LG V30S ThinQ smartphone includes three new intelligent camera features: AI CAM, QLens and Bright Mode. AI CAM analyses subjects in the frame and recommends the optimal shooting mode, while Bright Mode uses algorithms to brighten images by a factor of two for better looking photos without the noise.

The modular Cintiq Pro Engine slots into the back of the Cintiq Pro 24, eliminating the space, cable clutter and compatibility issues that often result from  using external computers and laptops. There are two versions of Cintiq Pro Engine, i5 (£2,399.99) and Xeon (£3,419.99), available as of May 2018 in Japan, US and selected countries in Europe.
