The Nokia 9 Pureview smartphone for photographers, which won 24 awards at Mobile World Congress 2019, is now available to buy in the UK.

Created for photography enthusiasts, the limited-edition Nokia 9 Pureview comes in Midnight Blue priced at £549. It's now available to buy from Argos, Amazon, Mobile Phones Direct, Buymobiles.net, very.co.uk and littlewoods.com.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available in the UK from Samsung Online Shop and Samsung Experience Stores and via an exclusive operator partnership with EE.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold will go live from Friday 26th April ahead of its retail launch on Friday 3rd May. The Samsung Galaxy Fold will be available from Samsung at a RRP of £1800 and all devices will come with Galaxy Buds and a slim-design protective Kevlar case. EE price plans will be announced at a later date.

The Huawei P30 Pro is a flagship smartphone that aims to rewrite the rules of photography. The Sony RX0 II is a new premium action camera with a 1.0-type stacked 15.3MP image sensor.

The successor to the original RX0 now offers internal 4K recording, an up to 180-degree and down to 90-degree tiltable LCD screen that even works underwater, and new image stabilisation solutions for video recording.

The Sony RX0 II kit with the VCT-SGR1 Shooting Grip and bracket will ship in Europe in May 2019, priced at approximately €800 / £730.In the US it's priced at $700 and will ship in April 2019.

Sony has released a major firmware update for the flagship Alpha A9 mirrorless camera. Version 5.0 introduces a significant number of new features and improvements that were promised by Sony back in January 2019.

Distributed by Hahnel in the UK, the Tokina Opera 16-28mm F2.8 is an affordable wide-angle lens for Canon and Nikon full-frame DSLR cameras.

This lens has a complex optical design with 15 elements in 13 groups, low distortion and low light falloff, a One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism, and Silent Drive autofocusing.

The Tokina Opera 16-28mm F2.8 is priced at £699 / $699.

An updated version of the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm f/1.7 Micro Four Thirds lens is being showcased at The Photography Show in the UK.

With a constant aperture of F1.7 throughout its 20-50mm effective focal range (in 35mm terms), this is a pretty big and heavy lens by Micro Four Thirds standards, as demonstrated by it's 77mm filter thread - but then we can't think of another lens quite like it.

Still in prototype format, the latest iteration of this mirrorless camera lens is now almost fully working. The zoom mechanism works so that you can see how far the lens extends at 10mm, 14mm (the shortest length) and 25mm, the clickless aperture ring rotates, and the manual focus collar pulls back to reveal focus distance markings. There's also a marking on the front that reveals the close focusing distance to be 0.28m.

There's still no word yet on availability or pricing of the Panasonic 10-25mm f/1.7, other than 2019, but this latest prototype shows definite progress has been made on this exciting Micro Four Thirds lens.

The new Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 FE prime lens offers stunning resolution, bokeh and excellent AF performance.

This lens will be unveiled for the first time at The Photography Show in the UK between March 16th and 19th. The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 FE will be available Spring 2019, pricing to follow.
