Sony have just published details of all their sensors that are on sale to third-party companies, from 1/3 all the way up to medium format, and it appears that the new Fujifilm X-T3 almost certainly uses a Sony sensor (the IMX571). If you've ever wondered which sensor might be inside your camera, these handy charts provide some clues.

Insta360 are adding support for 180-degree 3D capture and editing with its leading professional VR cameras, the Insta360 Pro and Pro 2. The cameras are the first-ever pro-level VR cameras to offer support for both 180 and 360 capture.

The 180 3D update for the Insta360 Pro and Pro 2 is set to launch later this month.

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-WX800 is the world's smallest camera with a 30x, 24-720mm zoom lens. The WX800 also has Fast Intelligent AF and responsive Eye AF to help capture even distant subjects beautifully, while built-in Wi-Fi/NFC makes sharing easy. There's an 18.2 million pixel Exmor R CMOS sensor, 180-degree tilting touch-panel LCD screen, BIONZ X processor, 10fps continuous shooting and 4K (3840 x 2160) video recording. The WX800 measures 101.6 mm x 58.1 mm x 35.5 mm and weighs 233g with the battery and memory card fitted.

The Sony WX800 will be available in black or white.

Update: Sony have also unveiled the Cyber-shot DSC-WX700 model in China, which appears to be identical to the WX800, except that it doesn't have a touchscreen LCD.

The Sony Cyber-shot HX99 and HX95 are the World’s smallest travel high zoom cameras with 4K movie capability and an upgraded image processor. Both models offer a truly versatile zoom range from 24mm at the wide end up to 720mm super-telephoto, 4K video with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, and the latest BIONZ X image processing engine.

The new Sony Cyber-shot HX99 and HX95 will ship in Europe from October 2018, priced at £450 and €520 in Ireland for HX99 and £430 and €500 in Ireland for HX95.

Update: The Sony Cyber-shot HX99 Travel Zoom camera will also be available in the USA in early November for $449.99 USD ($599.99 CAD).

Adobe have announced major updates to Creative Cloud applications including Photoshop CC, Lightroom CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Premiere Pro CC and Adobe XD. They've also unveiled Premiere Rush CC (pictured), the first all-in-one, easy-to-use video editing app for social media creators, and previewed new iPad versions of Adobe Photoshop CC and Project Gemini, a drawing app.

84.5mm's new MID-HARD Graduation camera filters are intended mainly for outdoor photography with straighter lines. These new filters are available now in all filter sizes, fully compatible with holders of P type square filters (width 84-85mm) and XL type square filters (width 100mm).

The Zeiss Otus 100mm f/1.4 lens is due to be released in 2019, according to Japanese rumour site Nokishita. Sporting an APO Sonnar lens design, the Otus 100mm has a filter size of 86mm and an aperture range of f/1.4-f/16. It will be available in Nikon F and Canon EF mounts.

Sales of the new Tokina Opera 50mm F1.4 FF lens for full frame Nikon and Canon DSLR cameras will begin on October 26th.

One of the key selling points of the Canon EOS R mirrorless camera is its backwards compatibility with Canon's vast range of EF lenses - 130 million produced so far and counting - not to mention 3rd-party lenses from the likes of Sigma and Tamron. Skylum is adding an AI Sky Enhancer, a new and highly advanced AI filter, to Luminar. The Kodak Digitizing Box brings a modern version of Kodak’s yellow envelope back to customer door steps. A box is shipped to the customer and they place inside of it the media they want to be converted. The media is mailed back in a pre-paid, pre-addressed box. The Kodak Digitizing Box offers four options of service, with 19 types of media available for conversion to digital, including, VHS tapes, Reel to Reel audio tape, Super 8 Film, 35mm slides and picture negatives.
