New lens releases for Fujifilm’s unique GFX medium format cameras don’t come often, so when one arrives, it is worth taking a look. Their newest lens is the Fujinon GF 20-35mm F4 WR, a wide angle zoom that proves to be a great match even to their extremely high resolution Fujifilm GFX100S (102MP!) that I used for this review.

It took Fujifilm some time to get there but the wait is over! Five years after introducing the first GFX camera at Photokina in Germany in 2017 Fujifilm has released an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, the GF 20-35mm f/4 R WR.
