Sharpness at 35mm

Sharpness has been evaluated using a real-world subject. The Sony E PZ 18-110mm f/4 G OSS lens was attached to a Sony A6500, which in turn was mounted on a sturdy tripod. The timer mode was activated to avoid vibrations from touching the shutter release. Any differences in tone or lighting are due to natural changes in lighting conditions over the course of the shooting session.

Centre sharpness is excellent between f/4 and f/11, with diffraction starting to soften the image from f/16 onwards. Edge sharpness is best from f/11 upwards.
