Switronix has unveiled its latest all-in-one power distributor, called the FlyPack. A scaled-down version of the JetPack, the FlyPack features an all-aluminium chassis, with three 1/4-20 threads on the back for easy mounting. Available in two different models (the 5v/7.2v/12v Base model and the 5v/12v/12v FP-212 variant), the FlyPack includes a powertap cable, accepting a power input from 12-17vdc, as well as one USB output, one 5v Lemo output, one 7.2v regulated outputs, and one 12v regulated. The Switronix FlyPack enables you to power a camcorder/dslr, video processing converter and audio recorder, all from one device.

Kenro has announced the UK launch of a new, cost-effective LED macro ring light by Reflecta. Kenro has announced the additionh of several new filter sizes to Marumi's respected range of photographic accessories. Now available in four new sizes between 37mm-46mm, the Marumi DHG Light Control ND Filter has been designed to improve the results of landscape photography. Marumi's DHG Circular Polarising filters are now available in the newly added sizes of 86mm and 95mm. The two new sizes can also be seen in the DHG Super Circular Polarising range which incorporates the same features as the Digital High Grade range but with water and oil repellent coating. The 86mm and 95mm sizes are now also available within the Marumi DHG Lens Protect and Super Lens Protect Filter range.

Triggertrap today announced updates to both its iOS mobile app and product line. Rollei has released two telescopic arm extensions for fast and secure attachment of all action cams and compact cameras with a 1/4“ tripod thread. The Rollei Arm Extension S 505mm (€39.95) weighs just 95g and can be easily extended from 20 to 50 cm. Arca-Swiss has launched its new Monoball Z1g+ tripod head. Nikon has posted firmware updates for all Nikon 1 system cameras plus the GP-N100 GPS unit and the FT1 lens adapter. The camera firmware updates add full support for the Nikon 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 lens, new features for the Playback mode, support for continuous auto focus when an AF-S lens is attached to the camera via the FT1 adapter (when the adapter's firmware is updated to version 1.10). Also, the precision of time synchronization when the GPS Unit GP-N100 is attached to the camera and the Use GPS to set clock option is set to Yes has been increased. Olympus has issued firmware updates fora range of cameras that adds support for the new, high-resolution VF-4 electronic viewfinder. Affected models include the Olympus XZ-2, OM-D E-M5, E-P2, E-P3, E-PL1, E-PL2, E-PL3, E-PL5, E-PM1 and E-PM2.
