Canon has announced that it has now stopped making its last ever film camera, the EOS-1v SLR.

Sony have announced the development of a 5.76 million dot OLED electronic viewfinder. The catchily named ECX339A OLED Microdisplay features UXGA (1600 x 1200 resolution), the highest in class for a 0.5-type, the world's smallest pixel pitch of 6.3μm, and a high frame rate of up to 240 fps.

The Fujifilm X-T100 is a new mid-range mirrorless camera with a 24.2 megapixel sensor, advanced automatic scene recognition, phase detection autofocus system, three way tilting touch screen, electronic viewfinder and the latest Bluetooth technology.

Lucid is working with Hollywood camera maker RED to build the next generation prosumer 3D/4-View (4V) camera for 8K video and image capture. The new camera is the first dual camera to give users full 8K video and picture capabilities converting to 4V in real-time while allowing them to shoot like professionals with dynamically adjustable lens distances for the best 3D focus and zoom.
