Canon announced today four new Pixma TS-series Wireless Inkjet All-In-One printers. The Pixma TS5020 ($99.99, pictured) has a 3" screen, an off-screen directional pad and start/stop buttons. The TS6020 ($149.99) offers a 3" touchscreen and a set of off-screen buttons. Both are available in black, white and grey. The Pixma TS8020 ($179.99) comes with a 4.3-inch touch panel and is available in black, white, red, and brown. The TS9020 ($199.99) has a 5" touchscreen and is offered in two-tone red/black and white/black. All models support Apple's AirPrint technology. The Pixma TS9020 and TS8020 models are also able to print directly through NFC via Android devices

Canon has today unveiled a newly designed PIXMA inkjet line-up. Canon offers something for everyone with its entry-level PIXMA TS5050 series, mid-range PIXMA TS6050 series, PIXMA TS8050 series and its top-of-the-range PIXMA TS9050 series - all of which are up to 40% more compact than previous models.

Canon today introduced five next-generation Maxify wireless inkjet printers. The MAXIFY MB5420, MB5120, MB2720, MB2120 and iB4120 printers offer improved functionality, such as increased print speeds, management information base (MIB) support, and select models offer larger LCD screens. Canon today unveiled two new All-in-One PIXMA inkjet printers – the PIXMA MG3050 and PIXMA MG2550S. Using Wi-Fi connectivity, the PIXMA MG3050 enables wireless printing from laptops and PCs as well as smartphones and tablets using the Canon PRINT app. For creative inspiration, the PIXMA MG3050 and PIXMA MG2550S include My Image Garden for Mac or PC, which organises all photos in one easy-to-use location before creating unique photo layouts automatically. The PIXMA MG3050 series is available from September with an RRP of £69.99/€79.99. The PIXMA MG2550S is also available from September with an RRP of £44.99/€49.99.

Epson have announced it is shipping the new family of SureColor P-Series printers – the 44-inch SureColor P10000 and 64-inch SureColor P20000. Successors to the renowned Epson Stylus Pro 11880, the new SureColor P-Series printers leverage an enhanced PrecisionCore MicroTFP print head, newly developed media feeding system, and reformulated Epson UltraChrom PRO nine-colour pigment inks. The Epson SC-P10000 and SC-P20000 are currently available for $6,995 and $11,995 respectively. For the North American market, a 320GB Internal Print Server is included ($399.95), and an optional Auto Take-up Reel ($1,999.95) is available to enable roll-to-roll production.

DNP today introduced its new DS-RX1HS dye-sublimation professional photo printer. Boasting increased print speeds, the DNP DS-RX1HS allows users to produce 4”x6” prints in 12.4 seconds or up to 290 4”x6” prints per hour. It offers print capacities of 700 4”x6” prints and 350 6”x8” prints, with the ability to print 2”x6” photo strips. The printer also includes improved operational support with the addition of USB iSerial for printing to multiple DS-RX1HS printers and a new Status App for Windows OS for real-time monitoring, including media type loaded, prints remaining, printer status, total print count, firmware version, serial number and colour control data. The printer requires the new RX1HS media for printing, as current-generation RX1 media is not compatible. The DS-RX1HS printer and media set will be available in North America from 20th June.

Canon are offering up to £50/€70 cashback on selected items in the UK and Ireland, plus the chance to win a three-night break in Dubai for two people. Canon has been awarded five accolades by the Technical Image Press Association (TIPA). The "Best Professional/High-Res DSLR" title went to the Canon EOS 5DS / 5DSR (pictured), while the Canon EOS-1D X Mark II has been named the year's "Best Photo/Video Professional Camera." The Canon IXUS 285 HS has won the "Easy Compact Camera" category, and the Canon PowerShot G5 X has received the "Best Expert Compact Camera" award. Last but not least, the imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 has been selected as the world's best photo printer.

Epson. today introduced its next-generation Expression Home XP-430 Small-in-One ultra-compact printer. The new device supports Wi-Fi CERTIFIED and Wi-Fi Direct for printing without a router or wireless connection, and comes equipped with Epson Connect to print and scan from a tablet, smartphone or computer. The Expression XP-430 features a high-resolution 2.7" colour LCD screen and built-in memory card slots for easy PC-free photo printing, scanning and copying. The XP-430 Small-in-One is now available for $99.99.

Canon today announced the expansion of the imagePROGRAF PRO Series with four large-format inkjet printers. The new models include the 11-Colour plus Chroma Optimizer 44-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-4000 (pictured) and 24-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-2000, designed for the fine art and photographic markets, as well as the eight-colour 60-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-6000S and 44-inch imagePROGRAF PRO-4000S aimed at the production signage industry. “From the time a photo is taken, to the time it is reproduced in print, imaging professionals require output solutions that accurately preserve the detail and vibrancy of that moment,” said Toyotsugu Kuwamura, senior vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., Inc. “The new imagePROGRAF PRO Series models not only deliver an impressive and well-appointed design equal to Canon’s EOS digital cameras, but are also equipped with advanced technology features to faithfully reproduce high-quality photos taken by Canon’s EOS digital cameras with outstanding image quality.” The imagePROGRAF PRO-4000 is available for an MSRP of $5,995. Epson today announced that they are P-Series printers including  the 24-inch SureColor P6000 and SureColor P7000 and 44-inch SureColor P8000 and SureColor P9000. Equipped with Epson’s latest PrecisionCore TFP printhead and newly-developed UltraChrome archival ink technology, the new SureColor P-Series printers are designed for professional photographic applications. Available now for purchase through authorised Epson Professional Imaging SureColor P-Series resellers, the Epson SureColor P-Series printers are currently on display at PhotoPlus Expo at the Javits Center in NYC.

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 is a new professional grade photo printer designed for art schools, graphic artists, designers and professional photographers. Boasting an advanced 12-ink pigment based system, as well as a new 1.28” print head and processing engine, the imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 produces outstanding quality prints up to A2 in approximately just six minutes.

The imagePROGRAF PRO-1000 will be available from the end of October with an MSRP of $1299.99. This will be the first in a new series of professional grade printers from Canon.

Epson today announced the Epson SureColor P400 13-inch photo printer. Designed for photography enthusiasts, advanced amateur photographers and creative hobbyists, the SureColor P400 combines an advanced MicroPiezo AMC printhead with next-generation Epson UltraChrome HG2 pigment inks driven by enhanced AccuPhoto HD imaging technology to produce consistent output with smooth gradations and exhibition-quality prints. The SureColor P400 also offers a comprehensive set of connectivity options including USB 2.0, wireless 802.11n, WiFi Direct and 100 Mbit Ethernet. The printer will be demonstrated for the first time in North America at PhotoPlus Expo, taking place from 22 –24 October at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, and is available now through authorised resellers for $599.

The Polaroid Snap is a 10-megapixel instant digital camera now available to pre-order on Photojojo.com. A throwback to Polaroids of old, the new Snap prints out photos onto 2"x3" ZINK paper thanks to an integrated printer using Zero Ink Printing technology, while saving a digital copy unto a microSD card. Epson have unveiled their wireless PictureMate PM-400 Personal Photo Lab delivering borderless 4" x 6" and 5" x 7" photos that are smudge, scratch, water, and fade resistant, and last up to 200 years. Featuring a 2.7-inch LCD screen and easy-to-use button formatting for intuitive set up and navigation – all without a PC – the "personal photo lab" offers a range of photo editing and custom printing options including Auto Photo Correction, removing red eye, printing classic borders or borderless, as well as the ability to print in black-and-white, color or sepia. The PictureMate PM-400 is now available for $249.99.

Epson today announced the 24-inch SureColor P6000 and P7000, plus the 44-inch SureColor P8000 and P9000 printers. The SC-P7000 and SC-P9000 are available in a Commercial Edition featuring an all-new Violet ink for expanded color gamut delivering output matching 99-percent of the PANTONE FORMULA GUIDE Solid Coated. In addition, the printers are configurable with an optional Epson SpectroProofer UVS in-line spectrophotometer designed to provide automated colour management and verification-related tasks for a range of proofing applications. The SC-P6000/P8000 leverage the eight-colour UltraChrome HD ink and the SC-P7000/P9000 use the 10-colour UltraChrome HDX ink. Both professional ink sets deliver improved black density: the new Black ink is 1.5 times denser than previous ink formulation, providing significant improvements to overall contract ratio and optical clarity, the company says. The Epson SureColor P-Series will be available in October 2015.
