Ahead of our full review, here are 55 sample JPEG photos and a 1080p movie taken with a full production version of the new Canon PowerShot SX260 HS travel-zoom compact camera. The SX260 HS is Canon's premium travel zoom camera, sporting a 20x, 25-500mm lens, 12.1 megapixel CMOS sensor, GPS and 3 inch LCD screen.

Ahead of our full review, here are 39 sample JPEG photos and a 1080p movie taken with a full production version of the new full-frame Nikon D4 DSLR camera. The D4 is Nikon's flagship DSLR camera, featuring a 16.2-megapixel FX-format sensor, EXPEED3 image processing engine, 11 fps burst shooting, ISO 50-204,800 and Full HD (1080p) movies.

Autodesk has announced a partnership with Photobucket to bring Pixlr photo editing tools to Photobucket users. Under this agreement, Photobucket will now offer its users Pixlr tools, including the popular Pixlr Editor and the newly revamped Pixlr Express. The partnership between the companies will also provide advertisers with a creative environment from which they can deliver custom, branded effects in Photobucket ad packages.

Nikon has issued firmware updates for the Nikon Coolpix S9200 and S9300 digital compact cameras. Version 1.1 (for each camera) addresses an issue that, in some rare cases, used to cause the camera to freeze when the built-in flash was raised while the optional AC Adapter EH-62F was used. To celebrate Sony’s sponsorship of the World Photography awards, Sony UK will be hosting a free photography seminar on 18th April. Taking place from 7.30pm – 9.30pm at The Wellcome Collection, 183 Euston Road, London, NW1 2BE, the seminar features a panel of experts who will share their insights into the intricacies of the art of photography. The panel will include Fiona Shields, Guardian Picture Editor, Elizabeth Roberts, Editor of Black and White Photography and Celia Henderson, a Sony advocate photographer who uses her photographs of the natural world to create contemporary wall art on print, canvas, metal and acrylic.Sony is also giving one lucky photographer the chance to have their photograph displayed at the Sony World Photography Awards 2012 winner’s exhibition at Somerset House.
