The new Tamron 70-300mm F/4.5-6.3 Di III RXD is now available for pre-order, with sales starting from October 29th onwards.

The suggested retail price will be £649.99 in the UK and $549 in the US.

Tamron Issues Advisory Notices for 70-180mm F/2.8 and 17-28mm F/2.8 Lenses

Tamron has issued advisory notices for the 70-180mm F/2.8 Di III VXD and 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD lenses. They warn of a timing issue when using a flashgun with both lenses on most Sony cameras, and additionally a serious stabilizer malfunction when using the 70-180mm lens and the Alpha A7 II camera.

Tamron 20mm, 24mm, 35mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 Lenses for Sony E-Mount Mirrorless Cameras

Tamron have announced three new prime lenses for Sony Alpha full-frame mirrorless cameras.

The compact, lightweight Tamron 20mm, 24mm and 35mm F/2.8 Di III OSD M1:2 lenses all feature a 67mm filter diameter, magnification ratio of 1:2, moisture-resistant construction, and are all the same length (64mm).

The 24mm and 35mm lenses will be available on November 20th 2019 and the 20mm will be available in January 2020. All three lenses will be available in the USA for approximately $349 each and in the UK for £399.

The new Tamron 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD lens for Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras is an extremely compact and lightweight, fast aperture, ultra wide-angle zoom. It weighs just 420g with an overall length of 99mm, yet still offers a large f/2.8 aperture throughout the entire zoom range.

The Tamron 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD will be available in the UK from late July 2019 priced at £899.99 and in the US at $899.99.

Tamron 17-28mm F/2.8, 35-150mm F/2.8-4 and 35mm F/1.4 Lenses

Tamron has announced three new lenses - the 17-28mm F/2.8 Di III RXD for Sony FE, and the 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD and the SP 35mm F/1.4 Di USD for DSLR.

Tamron will display these new lenses at the CP+ 2019 show in Japan. All three lenses will be available in the middle of 2019.
