The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) will host this year's International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) exhibition from 1st April to 29th June. The exhibition will feature selections from the competition categories which focus on biodiversity and the wider environment, including The Beauty of Plants, Wildflower Landscapes, Wildlife in the Garden, Breathing Spaces and Trees, Wood and Forests. Living Dolls marks the 10th anniversary of Bob Carlos Clarke's final exhibition in 2004. It includes a selection of images from the Love-Dolls series, some special 'one-off' photographs from the archives, plus eighteen classic black-and-white images. The exhibition - which opens on 10th May in The Little Black Gallery, 13A Park Walk, London SW10 0AJ - is sponsored by Olympus, who also supported the original exhibition in 2004.

The Annenberg Space for Photography has announced its next exhibition, Country: Portraits of an American Sound. This exhibit presents images of the pioneers, poets and icons of country music, and will be offered free to the public 31 May through 28 September 2014. Country: Portraits of an American Sound uses historical and contemporary photographs to explore how images shape the public identity of country music performers and of the genre itself. The photographers include the late amateur photographer Elmer Williams; the late studio photographer Walden S. Fabry; veteran Grand Ole Opry staff photographer Les Leverett; the late Los Angeles-based photographerLeigh Wiener; Boston-based documentary photographer Henry Horenstein; iconic entertainment photographers Henry Diltz, Raeanne Rubenstein and Ethan Russell; and contemporary photographers David McClister and Michael Wilson. The Annenberg Space for Photography is located in Century Park at 2000 Avenue of the Stars in Century City, Los Angeles, California.

Russian Photography is a new online exhibition presented by the Photographic Museum of Humanity (PMH). Curated by Anna Shpakova, Director of Photography at the Russian agency Ria Novosti, this exhibition explores the work of Anastasia Rudenko, Georgy Pervov, Denis Tarasov, Ilya Batrakov and the Grozny Collective Project. "The stories we are presenting today at the Photographic Museum are very diverse: we are introducing photographers from different generations, individual and group projects, and we are showing bodies of work from various genres: from documentary photography to a completely original genre entitled 'photographic realism', coined by the photographer," Shpakova says.

Unscripted is a retrospective exhibition of works by photographer and Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) alumnus Karen Fuchs. Hosted by TheGallery, the exhibition will take place from 13 March - 24 April 2014. ‘Unscripted’ was first shown at M&C Saatchi, London during the 2012 Olympic Games and features a rare collection of unseen Usain Bolt images from 2004-11. Karen is the only photographer who extensively captured unique images of five-times IAAF World Athlete of the Year champion before he really shot to fame as one of the most successful athletes in the world. AUB is located two miles from the centre of Bournemouth, on the border between Bournemouth and Poole. Admission is free.

Inspired by Alfred Russel Wallace (1823-1913), one of the greatest and most fascinating intellectuals and naturalists of the nineteenth century, who developed the theory of evolution through natural selection in the Malay Archipelago, independently of Charles Darwin, the tour takes participants through the spectacular landscapes of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. The cost of the tour "In Wallace's Footsteps in the Malay Archipelago," including flights from London to Kuching and from Bali to London is £4,278. Ricoh is planning to exhibit four new reference products at CP+ 2014. Among these is a completely new medium-format DSLR camera - tentatively named the Pentax 645D 2014 - boasting the "latest, super-high-resolution CMOS image sensor" and an articulated LCD screen; a new medium-format ultra-wide zoom lens; a Q-mount telemacro lens and an interesting film duplicator that "produces digital duplicates of silver-halide-film images in combination with a digital SLR camera and a dedicated flash unit."
