The Panasonic LEICA VARIO-SUMMILUX 10-25mm F1.7 ASPH is the world’s first standard zoom lens to offer a maximum aperture of F1.7 throughout its range.

The LEICA DG VARIO-SUMMILUX 10-25mm / F1.7 ASPH has a recommended retail price of £1,799.99 / $1,999.99 and will be available from 15th July 2019.

The Samyang AF 45mm F1.8 FE is a new multi-purpose lens designed for Sony Full-Frame E-mount cameras that weighs just 162g.

The Samyang AF 45mm F1.8 FE will be available by the end of May 2019 for a suggested UK retail price of £349.99.

The new RF 85mm F1.2L USM offers the highest resolution of any Canon lens launched to date. Following Canon’s lens development announcement back in February, the RF 85mm F1.2L USM is the first of six RF mount lenses being introduced by Canon in 2019.

The Canon RF 85mm F1.2L USM is priced at £2,799.99/ €3,219.99 / $2699.00 and will be available from June 2019.

The Tamron 35-150mm F/2.8-4 Di VC OSD is a new compact zoom lens for full-frame DSLR cameras. The lens extends from 35mm to 150mm and offers a fast F/2.8 aperture at the wide-angle end while maintaining a bright F/4 at the telephoto end.

The lens will be available May 23 in Nikon mount and June 20 in Canon mount priced at $799.

The Zeiss Otus 100mm F1.4 is a new telephoto DSLR lens designed for professional photographers who expect unrestricted edge-to-edge image quality that extends across the entire aperture range.

The Zeiss Otus 100mm F1.4 is available now priced at £3,999 / 4,500 Euros / 4,500 US$.

Samyang have launched three new Nikon lenses - one auto-focus lens designed for the Nikon F mount, the AF 85mm F1.4 F, and two manual-focus lenses for the new Nikon Z mount, the MF 14mm F2.8 Z and MF 85mm F1.4 Z. All three new Nikon lenses are Ultra-Multi-Coated (UMC), in order to provide excellent image quality and contrast from the centre to edges of the image, and all three feature weather- sealing to enhance anti-dust and water-protection capabilities.

The Canon Sumire Prime lens series is a new range of seven fast T-stop cinema prime lenses, all with an interchangeable PL mount, which can be modified to an EF mount. The new lenses - CN-E14mm T3.1 FP X, CN-E20mm T1.5 FP X, CN-E24mm T1.5 FP X, CN-E35mm T1.5 FP X, CN-E50mm T1.3 FP X, CN-E85mm T1.3 FP X and CN-E135mm T2.2 FP X – are compatible with any PL mount cinema cameras equipped with either a 35mm full-frame format sensor or a Super 35mm format sensor.

The Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D is now available for Micro Four Thirds Cameras. Offering a 100-degree field of view and close-to-zero distortion, this lens provides a more natural perspective for Panasonic GH5 or Blackmagic Pocket Camera (BMPCC4k) videographers.

The retail selling price of the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D MFT mount is $499.

The Lensbaby Composer Pro II with Edge 35 Optic is a new wide angle tilt lens for use on Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fuji X, and Micro 4/3 interchangeable lens cameras.

The Composer Pro II with Edge 35 Optic will be available in April for $449.95, and by itself as an Optic for those who already own a Composer series lens, for $249.95.

Distributed by Hahnel in the UK, the Tokina Opera 16-28mm F2.8 is an affordable wide-angle lens for Canon and Nikon full-frame DSLR cameras.

This lens has a complex optical design with 15 elements in 13 groups, low distortion and low light falloff, a One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism, and Silent Drive autofocusing.

The Tokina Opera 16-28mm F2.8 is priced at £699 / $699.

An updated version of the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm f/1.7 Micro Four Thirds lens is being showcased at The Photography Show in the UK.

With a constant aperture of F1.7 throughout its 20-50mm effective focal range (in 35mm terms), this is a pretty big and heavy lens by Micro Four Thirds standards, as demonstrated by it's 77mm filter thread - but then we can't think of another lens quite like it.

Still in prototype format, the latest iteration of this mirrorless camera lens is now almost fully working. The zoom mechanism works so that you can see how far the lens extends at 10mm, 14mm (the shortest length) and 25mm, the clickless aperture ring rotates, and the manual focus collar pulls back to reveal focus distance markings. There's also a marking on the front that reveals the close focusing distance to be 0.28m.

There's still no word yet on availability or pricing of the Panasonic 10-25mm f/1.7, other than 2019, but this latest prototype shows definite progress has been made on this exciting Micro Four Thirds lens.

The new Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 FE prime lens offers stunning resolution, bokeh and excellent AF performance.

This lens will be unveiled for the first time at The Photography Show in the UK between March 16th and 19th. The Samyang AF 85mm F1.4 FE will be available Spring 2019, pricing to follow.
