The SiOnyx Aurora is the only HD action video camera with true day and night color imaging. Available in Q3 of 2018 at a retail price of $799, Aurora is based on the SiOnyx Ultra Low Light technology that is protected by more than 40 patents and until now was only available in the highest-end night vision optics costing tens of thousands of dollars.

In an interview with Japanese television station NHK World, Nikon have revealed that they will be releasing a new mirrorless camera system by Spring 2019. No further details have yet been released about the exact specifications, including what kind of mount the new Nikon compact system camera will use. We'd expect to see an early prototype being displayed at this year's Photokina show in September ahead of the Spring 2019 release date.

DxO Labs have issued a statement saying that they have chosen to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection. Despite this, the company is planning to release version 1.2 of DxO PhotoLab and a new version of the Nik Software Collection in June, following the process of restructuring the business.
