The Honor View20 is the first ever smartphone to offer a 48 megapixel rear camera. The 48MP camera is powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The new AI Ultra Clarity mode can combine multiple 48MP images into a single 48MP photo, producing a Super Photo with superb clarity. The Honor View20 also comes with an advanced 3D rear camera, which can scan and recognize real world objects.

The Honor View20 is available in the United Kingdom priced at £499.99 GBP (6GB RAM/128GB ROM) and £579.99 GBP (8GB RAM/256GB ROM). The smartphone is available in three colours: Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and the Moschino co-designed Phantom Blue.

CamFi Pro Plus supports wireless tethering feature for 500+ cameras, including Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fuji, Pentax and more. All DSLR cameras which support USB tethering can be supported by CamFi Pro Plus.

The price of CamFi Pro Plus is $339. All existing customers of CamFi Pro can order the upgrade service for $40.

Sharp have unveiled a new 8K Cinema Camera at CES 2019, simply known as the "8K video camera.

YouTube channel Kinotika spotted the Micro Four Thirds camera on the Sharp stand, which is being displayed as a working prototype at the show.

There aren't too many concrete details available yet, but the upcoming Sharp 8K Video Camera will offer 8K recording at 30p using the H.265 codec from its Micro Four Thirds sensor, have a 5-inch vari-angle LCD screen that's hinged at the side (great for vlogging), and offer in-camera image stabilisation for the wide range of Micro Four Thirds lenses on the market.

The Sharp 8K Video Camera is due to be more officially unveiled at the NAB 2019 show in April, but that hasn't stopped Sharp from announcing a price - under $5000, to be inexact - so expect it to retail for $4999...

The nearest rival for the Sharp 8K Video Camera is the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K, which costs a lot less than $5K, but as the name suggests "only" offers 4K video recording.

Lomography has just introduced the B&W 100 35 mm Potsdam Kino Film.

Lomography’s new Kino Films are extracted from rolls of cine film produced by a legendary German company that has been changing the face of cinema since the early 1900s. Originally used to make moody monochrome movies, their gorgeous black and white tones lend a timeless effect to cinematic scenes.

Potsdam Kino Film is the second in the series of Lomography Kino Films and has a lower ISO of 100, making it the perfect option for sunny days. It delivers less grain, more contrast and a higher DMAX than its predecessor for an even broader range of moody monochrome tones.

Lomography B&W Potsdam Kino Film will be exclusively available for pre-order on Lomography Online Store for $7.90.

Nikon have updated the lens roadmap for the Z series mirrorless camera system. The 20 mm f/1.8 S, 50 mm f/1.2 S and 14-24 mm f/2.8 S lenses will now definitely ship in 2020, while the 24mm f/1.8 S has been moved from 2020 to 2019. In addition, 7 TBA lenses are now scheduled for 2021, bringing the overall total to 23.

DJI has introduced a powerful new remote controller for its drones at CES 2019. The Smart Controller features an ultra-bright display screen and controls optimized for DJI drones, allowing pilots to fly the newest drones without using a smartphone or tablet.

X-Rite have just released ColorChecker Camera Calibration Software v1.2, which provides custom ICC Camera Profiles for Capture One Pro users. Photographers can now create and save custom ICC camera profiles for virtually any lighting situation utilizing either an X-Rite ColorChecker Passport Photo or ColorChecker Classic target together with the X-Rite Camera Calibration software v1.2.

Nikon are adding Eye AF, RAW video output and CFexpress Support to the Z6 and Z7 full-frame mirrorless cameras. The new features will be incorporated in new firmware being developed for the Nikon Z 7 and Z 6, which will be displayed at the CES 2019 show in Las Vegas. There's no confirmed release date yet for the firmware update.

The NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 is the world’s first full-frame ultra-wide-angle lens to boast a flat front element. This unique design feature allows use of 82 mm filters without the need for bulky filter holders.

The new Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4 lens will be available in April for £1349 / €1499 / $1299.

The Nikon Z6 full-frame mirrorless camera is now available as part of a new Filmmaker’s Kit, which includes a range of equipment and accessories that will help users tap into the Z6’s advanced video features.

The Nikon Z6 Filmmaker’s Kit will be available in late January 2019 for a suggested retail price of $3,999.95.

The new HONOR 10 Lite smartphone has an AI-powered 24 megapixel front camera, 6.21 inch FullView HD screen display, a slim dewdrop notch and a shimmering colour gradient back.

Priced at £199.99 the HONOR 10 Lite is available in Sapphire Blue, Sky Blue and Midnight Black from 7th January 2019.

The Wacom Cintiq 16 is a new tool for digital sketching, illustration and technical drawing that's specifically designed for young creative professionals, creative enthusiasts, art students and passionate hobbyists.

The Wacom Cintiq 16 has a recommended retail price of £529.99. The adjustable stand is optional and costs £69.99.

The Insta360 Titan is an eight-lens cinematic VR camera that captures 360 photos and video at up to 11K resolution. The Titan uses eight Micro Four Thirds (MFT) sensors, the largest sensors available in any standalone VR camera. These sensors maximize image quality, dynamic range, low-light performance and color depth, raising the bar for realism in high-end professional VR capture.

The Insta360 Titan is priced at $14,999 and is set to ship in April, following a pilot program with select filmmaker partners.

Venus Optics have unveiled the widest lens for DJI X7 cameras and Inspire 2 drones, the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 DL Zero-D. The new DL mount has the same specifications and optical performance as the existing Fuji X, Sony E and Canon EF-M mounts launched in 2018.
