Samsung has announced the latest addition to its premium Note series of smartphones with its Galaxy Note 9. This premium smartphone delivers the ultimate in performance, a new S Pen with connectivity for the first time ever, and Samsung’s most intelligent camera yet.

Sony have announced the upcoming release of the IMX586 stacked CMOS image sensor for smartphone cameras, which features 48 effective megapixels and an ultra-compact pixel size of 0.8 μm.

The new sensor uses the Quad Bayer color filter array, where adjacent 2x2 pixels come in the same color, making high-sensitivity shooting possible. During low light shooting, the signals from the four adjacent pixels are added, raising the sensitivity to a level equivalent to that of 1.6 μm pixels (12 megapixels), resulting in bright, low noise images.

The Honor 7S smartphone features a vibrant FullView display, powerful receiver, and a LED flash on both front and back cameras for just £99. The Honor 7S will be available in black for purchase from June 28th onwards.

Building on the huge success of last year’s global smartphone photography awards, HUAWEI today opened entries for its second annual NEXT-IMAGE Awards, with the support of the International Center of Photography (ICP). 

LEMURO is a photography accessory designed to enable any smartphone user to capture professional images without the need to carry bulky camera equipment.

The new HTC U12+ flagship smartphone has two cameras on the front and back that deliver beautifully artistic photos with DSLR-like bokeh. The U12+ has received a DxOMark score of 103, the highest rated camera in the industry for a dual camera smartphone.

The OnePlus 6 is the first in OnePlus' line of flagship smartphones to feature an all-glass design. With a 6.28-inch Full Optic AMOLED 19:9 display – OnePlus' largest-ever screen – the OnePlus 6 offers an immersive viewing experience, while keeping a similar form factor to that of the OnePlus 5T. The OnePlus 6 is also the fastest handset the company has ever produced. The OnePlus 6’s dual camera system features a 16MP main camera, supported by a 20MP secondary camera. With an f/1.7 aperture, the 16MP main camera has been bolstered by a 19 percent larger sensor and OIS for outstanding performance in a range of lighting conditions.

The OnePlus 6 in 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB storage options will be available in North America and in Europe on May 22^nd starting from USD 529 / EUR 519 / 469 GBP.

Honor has just launched the Honor 10, its flagship smartphone for 2018, priced at £399.99.

LG Electronics (LG) today introduced its latest premium smartphone, the LG G7 ThinQ. The LG G7 ThinQ's camera has been upgraded with an 8MP camera up front and 16MP lenses on the back in both standard and Super Wide Angle configurations for higher resolution photos with more details. LG’s signature wide angle camera now captures even more beautiful landscapes with less edge distortion and selfies are clearer and look more natural compared with previous LG phones.

The OnePlus 6 premium smartphone will be launched in London on May 16th. To celebrate the announcement of its much-anticipated OnePlus 6, the company will host the biggest ever Community event in its history.

LG Electronics has announced that it will formally unveil its premium LG G7 Thin Q smartphone on May 2 in New York City and May 3 in Seoul. This will be the first G series smartphone to adopt the ThinQ name, which denotes devices that utilise artificial intelligence to deliver practical, consumer benefits.

The highly-anticipated Huawei P20 Pro is now available to buy in the UK. The P20 Pro is available to purchase from all UK carriers and retail partners including Carphone Warehouse, EE, Vodafone, Three and O2 and is priced at £799. The device will be available in two striking colours, Midnight Blue and Black.

The NiSi Prosories Smartphone Filter Kit (P1) is a complete filter kit for photographers wishing to capture balanced exposures with their smartphones. The P1 system is compatible with virtually all of today’s smartphones, including Apple and Samsung devices. The NiSi P1 system carries a suggested retail price of $39.99.

The HUAWEI P20 Pro and HUAWEI P20 smartphones have advanced cameras to capture more light, featuring a Leica triple camera and 5x Hybrid Zoom on the HUAWEI P20 Pro, and a Leica dual camera on the HUAWEI P20. The HUAWEI P20 Pro features a Leica triple camera with the highest total pixel count on a smartphone – the camera configuration is comprised of a 40MP RGB sensor, a 20MP monochrome sensor and an 8MP sensor with a 3x telephoto lens. Both offer devices six-axis stabilization and 960fps super slow motion video.

The HUAWEI P20 Series comes in Black, Midnight Blue and two all-new gradient colors, Twilight and Pink Gold. The HUAWEI P20 Pro costs £849 and the P20 £599.
