Fuji have released six full-resolution sample photographs taken with the new Fujifilm X-T10 compact system camera. Captured at sensitivity settings ranging from ISO200/24° to ISO800/30°, these Fujifilm X-T10 samples were shot using a variety of Fujinon lenses including the XF55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS, the XF50-140mm F2.8 R LM OIS WR, the XF35mm F1.4 R and the XF18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS.

Fuji have posted half a dozen high-resolution sample images captured with the brand new Fujinon XF90mm F2 R LM WR lens. Taken by Bert Stephani, Niko Villegas and Kevin Mullins, these sample photographs demonstrate how well the XF90mm F2 R LM WR can be used in portraiture, fashion and wedding photography. The photos were all taken on a Fujifilm X-T1 compact system camera.

The Fujifilm X-T10 compact system camera combines a compact and lightweight body with a new AF system that excels at capturing moving subjects. The X-T10 features an APS-C X-TransTM CMOS II sensor with built-in phase detection AF. In addition to Fujifilm’s conventional 49-point AF mode for high speed and precision focusing, the X-T10 features new Zone and Wide/Tracking modes that track subject movement across a larger 77-point area.

The Fujifilm X-T10 will be on sale in the UK from mid-late June 2015. It will be available in both Black and Silver versions. All kit lenses will be Black.

The Fujinon XF 90mm F2 R LM WR is a short fast-aperture telephoto lens that is ideal for portrait and sports photography. Offering a focal length equivalent to 137mm and a maximum aperture of F2.0, the Fujinon XF 90mm F2 R LM WR delivers ultra-sharp images with rich bokeh even at the maximum aperture setting. The XF 90mm F2 R LM WR is both compact and, at 540g, lightweight while the minimum working distance of 60cm delivers a wide shooting range. A newly-developed Quad Linear Motor delivers fast, accurate autofocus, plus the lens also features a weather- and dust-resistant structure that can work in temperatures down to -10°C.

The Fujifilm XF 90mm lens will be on sale in the UK from late July 2015. The suggested retail price will be £699.00.

Light and Dust is a new photo book featuring 120 colour and black-and-white wildlife photographs by Federico Veronesi. This book is a reflection on the subjects and places that made the deepest impression on the author during his years spent in Eastern Africa. Sigma has announced the suggested retail price of the new Sigma dp0 Quattro large-sensor compact camera. Featuring a 14mm F4 lens (equivalent to a 21mm lens on a 35mm camera) and a Foveon sensor, the Sigma dp0 will become available in the UK towards the end of June, priced at £899.99 inclusive of VAT.

Former Sony games developer, Andy Gill has released an innovative new photo editing tool called Pixeluvo. Using a full range of colour transform filters, Pixeluvo allows users to transform the entire look of an image. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4: The Unofficial Quintessential Guide by Brian Matsumoto and Carol F. Roullard is a new title from Rocky Nook. Benro have announced the addition of SystemMove, which includes a range of camera movement tools. One of these is the Benro MoveUp4 travel jib, which features a folding design making it compact and well suited for traveling. It can support up to 8.8 lb and has a vertical reach of 6 feet. Threaded mounting points allow you to attach a monitor arm to view your shot live while operating from the back of the jib. Alpine Labs have returned to Kickstarter for the launch of the Radian 2 their second-generation motion time-lapse device. The original Radian enabled users to create still, panning, and tilting shots. The Radian 2 adds Bluetooth wireless connectivity so users can control camera settings from iOS and Android devices on the fly as well as a linear adapter to use both the original Radian and Radian 2 for linear motion. After connecting an iOS or Android device via Bluetooth to the Radian 2, the USB connection from the Radian 2 to the camera passes commands to the camera to enable users to adjust aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings without touching the camera or the device. The platform is modular and enables you to add Radians as your ambition (and budget) grows – you can now program up to three synchronized Radians at once to seamlessly combine panning, tilting and sliding. If the stretch goal for the Kickstarter campaign is reached, Alpine Labs aims to add functionality to the app that allow you to compile a preview of the time-lapse on your phone as the lapse is being shot. The company plans to deliver all Kickstarter units during October 2015.

The app enables you to access your entire computer photo library from the comfort of your favourite sofa, or from anywhere outside your home, using Wi‑Fi or 3G on your iPad or iPhone. Drivers in the 1980s by Chris Dorley-Brown is a new title from Hoxton Mini Press. On a hot morning in Hackney, 1987, photographer Chris Dorley-Brown set out to record the privitisation of Rolls Royce in the city. En-route he became fascinated by the faces of frustration and boredom from drivers on the gridlocked roads triggered by the sell-off. Almost 30 years later, these seemingly mundane portraits, published for the first time, capture a unique period in Britain’s history. The colours, the haircuts, the clothes and expressions recall a particular time and mood from Thatcher’s Britain. Each photo is accompanied by a description of the cars, many of which are now iconic: the Ford Capri, Cortina Mk 4, Mini Metro, the Ford Sierra.
