Nikon have unveiled a new lens roadmap for the Z series, with 13 new lenses scheduled for release by the end of 2021.
Interestingly, only one new Z DX lens, the 18-140mm zoom, will be added to the two new Z DX lenses that were announced along with the Z50 camera earlier today.

The much-rumored Nikon Z50 APS-C DX format mirrorless camera has just been officially unveiled.
The Z50 has a 20.9 megapixel APS-C sensor with 209 phase detection AF pixels, ISO 100-51200, 11fps burst shooting, EXPEED 6 processor, 180-degree flip screen, 2360k-dot EVF, 4K UHD video recording at 30p, and a 395g body.
The new Nikon Z50 will be available starting from 7th November 2019 priced at £849 / $856.95 body only.
In addition, Nikon have also introduced two new DX-format zoom lenses - the NIKKOR Z DX 16–50mm f/3.5–6.3 VR and the NIKKOR Z DX 50–250mm f/4.5–6.3 VR - to go with the Z50 camera.

The Voigtlander 50mm F2 APO-Lanthar is a new fast-fifty prime lens exclusively for Sony E-mount cameras.
According to a report on German photo news site, photoscala, Voigtlander are releasing the new lens to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of their Classic lens range.
The Voigtlander 50mm F2 APO-Lanthar will have 12 circular aperture blades, "so that not only at aperture F2.0 but also at aperture F2.8 creates a circular opening".
The optical construction is "to aspheric lens elements, five with anomalous partial dispersion, an integrated floating-focus system and an optical calculation that reduces chromatic aberrations to near zero ensure outstanding performance."
The aperture can be selected in 1/3 stop steps via a manual ring, which can be de-clicked for video use.
The Voigtlander 50mm F2 APO-Lanthar weighs 364g and measures 62.6mm in length.
It has a 49mm filter thread and a minimum focusing distance of 45cm.
The release date and price have still to be officially confirmed by Voigtlander.

Sigma has announced the upcoming launch of three new interchangeable lenses for the Canon EF-M mount digital camera series with APS-C image sensors. SIGMA will gradually introduce the 16mm, 30mm, and 56mm prime lenses as members of the Contemporary line.
