Sony have released a Camera Remote Software Development Kit to allow third-party developers and integrators to remotely control Sony cameras.

The Camera Remote SDK initially supports the Alpha 7R IV and Alpha 9 II cameras.

Fujifilm have just announced that the successor to the X-T3, their most popular mirrorless camera, will be unveiled on Feburary 26th 2020 at the CP+ show in Japan.

Unsurprsingly, the new model will be called the Fujifilm X-T4.

Other than a countdown timer on Fujifilm's website, there are no other official details about the new camera yet.

Venus Optics have just announced the pricing and availability of the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Macro APO, a compact macro lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C sensors with 2:1 magnification and invisible chromatic aberrations.

The Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2X Macro APO is available now priced at $399.

The new Fujifilm X-T200 mirrorless camera offers intuitive touch-screen controls, a new image sensor and processor combination, and beautiful image quality within a compact body.

New features include a newly designed EVF, quick face detection AF, the ability to create 24.2MP stills at 8 FPS, and the option to record 4K UHD video.

The Fuji XT200 will be available as a kit with the XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ lens in three colours (Silver, Dark Silver, and Champagne), priced at £749 and available from 27th Feb 2020.

Fujifilm are also introducing the new XC 35mm F2 lens in Black and Silver, priced at £169 and available from 27th Feb 2020.

The Fujifilm GF 45-100mm F4 R LM OIS WR is a new standard zoom lens for the GFX medium format camera system.

The GF 45-100mm F4 R LM OIS WR lens offers an equivalent focal length range of 36-79mm on a smaller 35mm format system, a maximum aperture of F4, 5-axis image stabilisation, near-silent, high speed autofocus motor, and dust- and weather-resistant construction.

The Fujifilm GF 45-100mm F4 R LM OIS WR is priced at £2049 and will be available from 27th February 2020.

Two new GFX medium format lenses, the Fujifilm GF 30mm F3.5 R WR and GF 80mm F1.7 R WR, have just been announced.

The GF 30mm F3.5 R WR is a compact wide prime lens for landscapes with a focal length equivalent to 24mm in the 35mm format.

The GF 80mm F1.7 R WR has the widest aperture in the GF lens range and has a focal length equivalent to 63mm in the 35mm film format.

There's no word yet on pricing or availability of the two new GFX lenses.

Leica is taking digital black-and-white photography to the next level with the launch of the new Leica M10 Monochrom camera. The technical details and the handling of the Leica M10 Monochrom are identical to those of the Leica M10-P.

The Leica M10 Monochrom is available now priced at £7,250 / $8,295.

Weighing 320g (0.7 lbs) and measuring 47mm (1.85 in) in depth, the Hasselblad XCD 45P is the world’s lightest digital medium format autofocus lens on the market today.

The Hasselblad XCD 4/45P will be available in in late January 2020 priced at $1099 / €1199 / £1030.

The NIKKOR Z 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S will also be available from early spring 2020, priced at £2,399 / $2,599.95.

Nikon have released a firmware update for the Z6 and Z7 mirrorless cameras which enables 12-bit RAW video streaming to an Atomos Ninja V external recorder and adds support For CFexpress memory cards. Nikon is the first camera manufacturer to enable RAW video output direct from a full-frame mirrorless camera over HDMI.

After downloading the firmware 2.20 update, support for RAW video output can be installed on Z7 and Z6 cameras at Nikon service centres for £179 / $199.

The Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” pays homage to HODINKEE Founder Ben Clymer’s vintage timepiece in celebration of legacy storytelling.

Limited to just 250 sets worldwide, the Leica M10-P “Ghost Edition” for HODINKEE includes a Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens. The set also includes a stylish and rugged gray rope strap with genuine Italian vegetable-tanned black leather accents, and a certificate of authenticity.

Olympus have added three new products to their M.Zuiko digital lens roadmap - the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm F4.0 PRO, M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm F5.0-6.3 IS and an as yet unspecified "pro telephoto zoom" lens.

Fujilm have announced plans to release a series of firmware updates for the X-T3 camera, starting in mid-December 2019.

Version 3.10 will enable controls for video recording from a gimbal or drone.

Version 3.20 will improve the tracking performance of the eye AF frame and add the capability to save up to 9,999 pictures in each folder on an SD card.

In addition to the OM-D E-M5 Mark III, Olympus are also rumored to be launched a follow-up to the PEN E-PL9 camera, rather unsurprisingly called the Olympus PEN E-PL10.

Update: The EPL10 has now been officially announced, but so far it's only going to be available in Japan and China.

Update2: The E-PL10 has now been officially launched in Europe. In the UK, it is available now exclusively in the Olympus online shop priced at £549.99 and in a kit with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ lens at £649.99.

The Leica CL ‘Edition Paul Smith’ is the second special edition camera created in collaboration with the acclaimed British designer, Paul Smith.

The classic Leica CL has been given a design makeover featuring a unique, colorful look with nods to Smith’s artistic references.

The technical specifications of the camera and lens are identical to those of the serial production models.

The Leica CL ‘Edition Paul Smith’ is strictly limited to 900 sets for the global market and is on sale from today for $3,995.
