The Honor 20 Pro is an excellent phone that combines some high-end specs with a price less intimidating than the Huawei P30 Pro’s or Samsung Galaxy S10’s. If you want maxed-out gaming power, you’re better off with a OnePlus 7. And the Asus ZenFone 6 has both more power, a larger battery and more eye-catching motorised camera.

What other phone is going to offer three (out of the four) decent cameras in a striking design such as this? Once again Honor has shown its strength by numbers - and while the Pro isn't perfect, as an affordable flagship it's got a whole lot going for it.

The Honor 20 Pro proves you don't need to part with the thick end of £1000/€1000 to get premium phone camera specs. While image quality is not quite on par with a top-tier phone like the Galaxy S10, it's certainly good enough for this far lower price point, and the multi-camera versatility only adds to the appeal. If you're after a mid-range phone that sacrifices nothing in terms of camera performance, the Honor 20 Pro should be high - if not top - of your shortlist.
